Top Affordable White Dresses
I'm always on the lookout for affordable white dresses that look expensive. So many designers I love (Alexis, Self Portrait, Needle and Thread, Thurley, Stone Cold Fox, etc) are pretty pricey, and let's be honest, it's not really practical to buy new ones every time they come out! Therefore I've put together a list of some amazing and affordable dresses perfect for the bride to be or the girl who loves white.
You absolutely do not have to be a bride to wear white all year around! AND you can totally wear a white dress any day of the year as long as you've got the confidence and right occasion. Outside of bridal events I would wear it to luncheons, birthday parties, date night, girls night out, sorority functions, etc. Even before I was a bride I loved anything white and always chose white over other basic colors. Don't be afraid of this color! After I'm married I'm still going to make excuses to wear white as much as possible.
The key is finding designer quality that wont break the bank and doesn't look cheap. I have a few go-to sites like Missguided, SheIn, Free People, and Revolve (the most pricey option). For my last two bridal showers I bought one dress at For Love and Lemons (which I thought was a decent price for the dress, but definitely not a steal) and the other was from Missguided and 1/5th of the price!! I was blown away by the quality!!! 10/10 would recommend.
The bottom photo is from our engagement pictures in Peru and I'm wearing a dress from Free People that I bought in New York. I saw it and immediately had to have it!! It was definitely a splurge item. I was planning on wearing it to our rehearsal dinner but couldn't wait that long!
More often than not I try to find great deals on things you only wear once or twice, because at the end of the day we always say we'll wear it again but we all know the truth?! SO guilty of this.
